Re: 2030 - No more new ICE
Have a walk round the streets of Amsterdam and you'll see how it "works". Loads of power cables across the pavement.

Re: Hamil7on
The Perez situation will be interesting to watch. It will be a solid indicator of how good or indeed bad the RB really is as it will be the first time an experienced driver has been along side Max. Still think the whole package is set up round Max's driving style which probably won't suit Perez init...

You forgot that the Exige is more expense, for everything.

Re: Exige V6 prices
I prefer my S160 on the road, it's more fun at legal speeds and much more nimble on twisty bumpy stuff. I find the V6 also attracts a lot of driver hate on the road, flashing lights, horns etc, never really get that in the Elise. Again, I am sure a more modern car would perhaps be better, but they ...

Re: Exige V6 prices
My bad, forgot all about the Boxster. Definitely should be on the list and near the top. Loved our one and would have another.

Re: Exige V6 prices
Saloon car, different category. If you look at saloons as well then my money would go on the Alfa Romeo giulia quadrifoglio just on looks alone (I will have one at some point). That and I would never buy another BMW, but that's just a personal thing. But there's loads of tempting motors in that clas...

Re: Hamil7on
I think this will be the last year in F1 for Haas, they have been going backwards especially last year and the only thing stopping them being bottom of the pile is the williams is even sh*t than the Haas. Expect that to change in 2021.

Re: Hamil7on
I find it curious how a lot of people criticise Mercedes for their dominance of F1 in the highbred era when really the failing is everybody else not catching them. That said it is the first time and won't be the last where one manufacturer has dominated for several seasons. Next year will be interes...

Re: Exige V6 prices
Also worth remembering that for a fun day out sports car that isn't going to see the track there are a lot of much better options out there. Curious as to what these are in your view Mike, and if they align with the others which are on my shortlist :thumbsup Depends your budget and balancing new ve...

Re: Exige V6 prices
Also it's a pretty pointless comparison. They are aimed at different market segments, price points. And they are both completely different to drive, The new exige is also much wider/bigger overall but there is no gain on the interior (my biggest bug bear about the exige). Also worth remembering that...

Re: Exige V6 prices
I’m 1600 miles into my new 350 sport ownership. Had it 7 weeks. So far all that has needed done at the first run in service is the front wheels needed rebalanced. So far loving the change from my Cup 250. At the equivalent point of ownership of the Cup 250 the horn stopped working, the AC compresso...

Re: Tesla Model 3
The comment wasn't aimed at you directly more at the premium price that EV's are commanding which I think is unjustified. Electric motors likely cost considerable less to produce than ICE, granted batteries will be pricey but still.

Re: Tesla Model 3
There really needs to be a concerted effort to bring the price of electric cars down from the stratosphere before you get anything like the take up the government want to see. Unless of course you just want an electric car with sh*t range for nipping around town. I think we will see prices start to ...
