If K series HGF is all that is worrying you about an MGF (ok TF!), then of course you will find spades of experience and knowledge in here to help you through if one should occur. And when it does, you can put a slightly better head back on instead, and then maybe even you will enjoy the car! I agre...

New VX Tigra. They don't come much more girly than that. In fairness to the GF, the Elise is not the easiest car to live with. However, if you could get her to try a later S2 with Touring Pack in a "nice colour", she might be swayed. Or VX220 for even more cossetting. Can you stretch to a Europa ;-)...

It's true that if all you want is a nice quick car to drive from A to B in then you might well buy a German 2 seater sports car and get the same performance, comfort, etc., but if you actually want a Lotus and you already have a track car or two, then the Europa is surely a great idea! I'll bet And...

You could declare it, but ensure that they don't load the premium. This is because Bilsteins are now a Lotus recommended fit for S1s, hence treat as manufacturer's specification. They are not a performance upgrade...although some could argue that if you use the slightly lowering mounts or minor spri...

you got a multimeter kicking around?? If its completely dead all the time, its unlikley to be the battery. Probably the charger or some kind of electronic failure in the unit its self  Steve, Thanks. Don't have such a thing, but I know a man who does and I think he just posted to this thread...

NLC: Faulty Logitech mm50 iPod speaker dock
Anyone got any experience with these? Appear to be totally dead, not sure if transformer, rechargeable battery fault (allegedly non-replaceable) or summat else. Would appreciate being able to try someone else's transformer if poss. Think they're out of warranty, although considered contacting Logite...

I think our OAP neighbours drive faster than we do, in our "twenty is plenty" zone (frankly if you can get much above 15 mph you are doing well, waste of time and money painting all the signs on the roads etc). However two of the local crumblies are definitely frustrated racing drivers, one barrels ...

It's unfortunate, but the cruzer masses who are now overly fond of drainpipe straight through exhausts have, as ever, ruined it for everyone else. So if you have a car any lounder than a hairdryer these days, it's going to wind up the Do-Gooders. Do remember though, that a generally accepted princip...

This should give you some more idea of what your typical hot hatch day used to look like: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/1a602ca7-a0e5-44e4-b76f-cf46feafd142.htm  Total. Fecking. Lunatics. Was trying to locate any pictures or videos of the really early Hot Hatch Days from late 90s. That ...
