Heat shield

Shugster, Your heatshield is looking a bit sus. When mine went like this in due course the heat burned through that silver paper rubber bulkhead liner and set fire to the bulkhead itself (right next to the petrol tank :-)) - luckily it never really caught (something to do with all the clothes wedged...

In one car or another - how serious is this towing eye rule - done a boat load of track days without a rear towing eye and whilst I might end up in the gravel at KH sooner or later I haven't done so yet (actually I have once, but the car drove back out of the gravel on the tracks it made on the way ...
