Guys thanks very much for the comments - much appreciated. Guess the only real concern I have is how to value the thing. Given how hard it is out there I dont see the car as being worth anything like £17K, my reasoning being that you can now buy an Exige S for under £20K (one sold on Pheads yesterda...

10k will get you a dog of an M3 and you'll never sell it on. IMHO of course :) It'll have none of the options (nav, 19s etc). Remember they have to have the running in service on time (sub 1500 miles), all the inspections done at the correct intervals etc. I can't remember what the cut off was for ...

Thanks for the welcome guys! A fuller spec for the car is as follows: 99 Mk1, 3 owners, came via Bell and C Modified in summer 07 by Sinclaire 40k miles total, 5K are on the Honda which had only done 3K before the swap.
