Re: Dreaded Clutch Problem

The main issue I have is that the dealers are there to make sure you do not have to get embroiled in the politics/two-ing and fro-ing that can go on between the dealer and the manufacturer. They know absolutely what your consumer rights are but seem to play "dumb" no doubt because they think the ave...

Re: Dreaded Clutch Problem

The Evora "needs a clutch" after 30-40k warcry is allegedly due to them overheating through heatsoak. Crap design IMHO and glad I didn't have to change one. Ross, very sorry to hear of the hassle. This will be a stern test of our other "local" dealer. There was a problem with early Evoras wihich wa...

Could have been us, we had 3 Elise's, 3 Evora"s, Esprit V8 and a Maca 570S out. The LEGS 1st Sunday of the month run from The lotus forums.

Met at the tearoom for breakfast by Anthony in his GT430 and 3 or 4 Elise's/Exiges.

Re: What's it worth?

What didn't you like about the Exige? Haven't driven one in anger myself yet, but the want is strong just now even if it would mean getting rid of the Evora and Elise to get it! The Evora i drove a couple of years ago (i think it was a 400) felt like a much better car to me (but they're stupid mone...

Re: Orange v6 Exige on Carse Road out of Stirling and a blue S1 Elise Blairgowrie

We had a LEGS run from the Lotus Forums on Sunday, shame you couldn't have joined us. Met up in Guildtown (Anglers Inn) for a fresh cooked brekkie at 1000 then off on a wee run to Meiklour - Dunkeld - through the back of dunkeld down to the A9 (lovely few miles of sweeping empty road) - back on ours...

Re: British GP - Friday parking advice please

I did British GP last year and used the bus from Northampton and it was brilliant. My wife bought me a load of Grandstand vouchers for my 50th last year and using them this year I think for Singapore. Night time race, city circuit can F1 be better than that really (apart from full hospitality at Mon...

Re: C8RKH

Thanks very much - first time I've been "spotted n 3 years of driving round". With the weather so good I did a loop from home to Glamis, Forfar, Brechin, Edzell, up over Cairn o Mount (after a coffee and a bacon roll at Clattering Bridge), and then back through Ballater, Braemar, Blairgowrie and Cou...

Re: LoT - Blyton Park on 12th May 2018

It was actually quite easy to get to - just head for Blyton village and pick up the signs in the Village about 1.5 miles out. A really good lap time is around 1m 8s. The track is not as wide as knockhill ut it has some really good bits and Bunga Bunga (a double left hander) is superb when you get it...

Re: LoT - Blyton Park on 12th May 2018

Lol - that's the same as I've been round Knockhill. Phew. Thank frig for that, I was fearing I would have to turn left at some point! ;) I believe it's flat though. That'll be a first with no off camber kinks and a long hill climb sprint every lap... It's just such a shame that every other tck in th...

LoT - Blyton Park on 12th May 2018

Anyone on here going or am I the only SE rep?

This will be my first track day outside of Knockhill, ever. Has anyone got a map?
