Re: New Car
I got the VX220 Supercharged in December - but unlike the that one, the Evora 410's Supercharger is not heard! Power delivery is sublime and smooth.
I've gone from two NA's to two Supercharged cars in 4 months....

New Car
After 3 wonderful years I've sold my 2010 Evora NA +0 in Ardent Red. To replace it I have bought another red Evora +0! This time the Evora Sport 410 in Fire Red from Lotus Silverstone. Have to say after 2 days of ownership and 300 miles in mixed weather conditions and o mixed roads it is a v...

Re: Formula 1 2018
Without overtaking it's just a procession and despite my love of F1 some of the races ae just not worth losing a couple of hours of your life to watch, and this is what will kill off F1. At times, it's just too boring. You can get more excitement watching curling or crown green bowls sometimes... Th...

Re: SIDC - Saturday 24th March, 9am to 1pm - Knockhill
Loved it yesterday. Weather was superb and thanks John for another well run event. You set the bar continually high and most of the drivers respond with good behaviours making it really enjoyable. I managed to go for 3hrs 40 minutes in the VX on the 1 tank of fuel thanks to the newly fitted 60ltr fu...

Re: MMC now LLE
Had a good long hard look at the red GT410 Evora with Ian on Friday night. Lovely bit of kit and sorely tempted to swap in my red NA. Not quite the spec I'm looking for. Ian was saying that Leven positively encouraged him to get a few more new cars in for stock in the showroom and is certainly does ...

Re: Big thanks to Murrays in Edin again
I called in to Murray's today as was dropping the VX220 off at CMC's for some TLC. Specifically wanted to see the orange GT430. My, what a superb car that is, totally amazing car in the flesh, a real thing of beauty. No sales guy around to talk to but it was around 1300 I think so maybe out to lunch...

Ah, fair enough. Mark had done my Evora and VX a couple of times and was pleased with the results.

Re: New driver 17th birthday insurance.
Went with Bell for my son at 17. £600 as a learner and policy rolled over when passed. 10 month duration but full 1 years NCB at renewal. He's still with them in year 3 and last renewal was £530 no mileage restriction. Black box plugged in to cigarette lighter for 3 months and got £75 rebate as he s...

Re: Forth Road Bridge - now in intensive care
We'll zoom over the bridge at 70mph towards Edinburgh and all will be great, until, 1.you hit Newbridge to come off for the airport when you will just snarl up faster and getter a faster build up of congestion as the cars zoom their at 70 mph - the biggest improvement there is they could make the sl...
