Re: Anyone bought a new car recently?
For me it's nice to get back into something where you can use full throttle for more than a few secs. it's not as fast as the m2 obviously but in terms of usable performance there's not much in it. Parts are buttons, tonnes of options to cheaply mod it and the tax is £13 a month. Finally, i lost £9k...

Re: Watch lovers?
i'm wearing my identical one today (albeit on a bracelet) - bought used a few years ago on the basis i could flip it for what it cost me.....and it's now one of the ones i'd sell last. Stunning watch. I love that it's not quite as ORANGE as the 2500s were, it's just the right amount to make it inter...

Not quite in the same league.....working from home has meant things have changed a bit. It's brilliant fun and pretty much free to run https://i.imgur.com/tosf37P.jpg (photo taken in it's spiritual home) I really like that, kind of tempted by one for the wife but perceived quality of the interior h...

Re: SE BMW M2 Club
Well the M2 went last week after 14 months. Long story short i took redundancy in Dec which wasn't great timing and once we'd done the "oh sh*t i might not get a job for another 6 months" budget the m2 was starting to look very expensive to do 2k miles a year. Even though a job was pretty much naile...

Re: Thoughts on property prices
We are selling Shell's flat this year after getting rid of mine a few years ago. For us the hassle outweighed the benefits. I reckoned every call from my letting agent cost me £500 min. My flat went down £10k in 10 years and Shell's looks like it might make about the same in 12 years. I guess if it'...

Re: Why does it not sell?
WHen i was selling a lot of people were obsessed with having all the packs. The mileage won't help either, which makes no sense as it's not high.

Re: SE BMW M2 Club
With 3 M2s replacing Lotus cars in here in the last few months has the 50k Elise jumped the shark? No but the £30k Evora has. [emoji23] I think that's the point. Pure out and out sports cars lotus have nailed. The issue (for me anyway) is when you try and run an evora as part of a two car family. I...

Re: Recommend me a webcam
We have £40 Chinese wierd brand webcams from amazon and also Nest cams. The webcams work fine as a camera but storing video on the cloud is a ball ache and you cna't ever shake the feeling that a small chinese man wanking over the footage. Also the alerting is very hit and miss. Use ours as a baby m...

Re: The evora replacement
You can use a seasucker, you can take the bike completely to bits and slot it into the car but it's a lot of hassle. Also seasucker isn't cheap and means I need £100 worth of mounts for mtb and gravel bike (qr, 12mm and 15mm) on top of £300k purchase price. And it's scary lol m2 means 5 mins to inst...
