Re: Big Brother is listening to you (NLC)

Use shazam, alexa, siri or Google and see how good the recognition is. Its still pretty sh*t. Then imagine it in a room "passively" and the accuracy goes down still further. Ever tried to use siri or Google over a car kit? Awful. If you are genuinely worried about privacy then there are easier steps...

Re: Car Entertainment

That 10BT might not work in an S2/V6 because of the overhang above the head unit. Apparently if you have a flip front the unit can need to sit out a little so the screen can clear it. Flip fronts also hit the indicator stall apparently. I'd very much like to find a solution that works. 👍 My vx came...

Re: Newbie - Indecisive!

Welcome to SE! As Ed says you can't retro the +2 but you can remove the seat padding from the +2 to give more room / options. I've had my 10 plate na for 4 years and have done 20k in it... Using it daily for a year. Now sitting at 55k and still driving superbly. We use it three up (me, wife and 3 ye...

Re: MMC now LLE

Is it just the sales and service staff that have been kept on or is Duncan still about?

Re: What Car to Get #3

The answer is obvious. Waste everyone's time on this thread, get it to at least 15 pages and then either

a) ignore everyone's advice and buy the car you wanted to buy in the first place

b) Buy a volvo xc60 like everyone else ;)

Ps. 4 series GC is a good shout tho

Re: Mint car care

Martin, Any chance you can PM me details of what it cost? I am thinking that Ceramic coating will be a good idea to save some time & effort. You mean what it really cost, or what he told Mrs Donkey it cost? Looks fab, I'm sold on the idea! I told mrs donkey it was expensive. She said "like al...

Mint car care

To celebrate the evora now belonging to me rather than a finance house I thought I'd get the car properly derailed while it was being serviced at CMC. Craig recommended Kenny at Mint car care and he came over the inspect the car and give me a quote. I've never done anything like this before but i ju...

Re: Craig Moncrieff thank you.

Forgot to update this....

7 year service and mot just completed for the evora and another great result. I also got a bit carried away and asked Craig to get the wheels done and the car detailed at the same time.

Car now looks brand new and I couldn't be happier.
