Re: S3 suspension options
Ordered a custom set of Nitrons from Hofmann's in the end. That, plus Pilbea...

Federal 595-rsr’s
I have the following sized tyres.... Federal 595-rsr’s 2 x 205,45,16 2 x 235,40,17 In good condition with around 4-5 mm left... I did two track days and 2k in road miles, only selling due to going to more of a track focused tyre. I had planned to use again, but I’m mainly using the elise for track d...

Is it just me but that spoiler on the Evora look a bit wrong.... I do love the Evora, it just looks like a cosmetic after thought.

Re: K series rebuild
Mines just been refreshed and I was £600 in bits alone but I saved money on labour as my mechanic needed help with a house extension and we just did hour for hour. I did replace the clutch with a new ap one, I added a sump baffle , stronger oil rail, competition head gasket and stronger head bolts w...

Re: What's the views - new car, at least it's a Lotus
I quite like the car advertised, but it’s rich money for the age and mileage of the car regardless of how much money has been thrown at it...... my 111s is almost the way I want it but I love the engine but it’s always needing something fixed or addressed, which comes to a point on how much you want...

Last time I took down a jerrycan, I sat it upright in the passenger seat and used the seat belt to anchor it in... bugger if you’ve a passenger though.

I have the 8 speed DSG in my SQ5 and l love it for wafting about in, its my first auto car and first experience so I’ve nothing else to compare it to, wife absolutely loves it and would now have nothing else. Only gripe I have is the manual with the paddles! They’re not really paddles as they are ju...

Re: Alternative tyre options
I haven’t updated on this for a while but after a fare bit of thought, well maybe a little bit too much I almost reverted my thoughts on AD08’s but with the car being a fare weather car with a few track days planned I though I’d try the new Nankang AR1’s which were fitted to my 1.2 wheels. I’ve been...
