Re: Lock down hints n tips
I've been 'commuting' each morning thins week, which is basically a 20 or 30 minute walk around the local area. Not sure what I'll do if it rains, but I feel mentally more awake and ready for the day after that. Also, perhaps goes without saying, but think about the equipment you are using. 8+ hours...

Re: Still not done Stelvio
I'm another on the not done Stelvio list. My original plan, when I did NC500 a couple of years back was to do something like that every couple of years, but this year obviously looks to be disappearing into doing nothing

Re: Covid-19 Lockdown
I was admiring your MINI today while driving past on my way to Click-and-Collect from Waitrose .... err... from Morrisons. Not sure the Fray Bentos Steak and Kidney Pies would taste much different anyhow :D You can only admire it up to the back of the front doors. When you realise it's a 5 door, it...

Re: Covid-19 Lockdown
I like the Waitrose idea, being in Dundee, my closest is 60 miles away in Stirling
Not sure I'd pull that off having never set food in a Waitrose mind.
I think I'd better put the regular cars on charge this weekend!

Re: Covid-19 Lockdown
Hard at work here, not much has changed, except outside is the place I see through a window, and my office is where I usually eat Xmas dinner.
I'm not sure if I remember how to drive at this point, and we're only 2 weeks in!

Re: Classic mini -NLC
As others have said, I'd avoid. Says it's had door skins and the doors are clearly rust, so what other parts that were 'restored' weren't done to a high standard. Rust visible on the doors, side panel and roof(?!) The jigging of the front end is interesting... Gaz adjustable dampers, but couldn't be...

I saw that at the weekend, horrific. Absolutely terrifying that we share a world with people who think that's acceptable.

Is this all coming up because the normal lights are unobtainable, or just because they are crap...?

I love it. The comparison of the rear ends is really something. Really does meet the true meaning of the words replica and recreation.

Wow, great vids, the s1 making me wish I’d got mine out today and the cerb reminding me how terrifying it can be driving it in the wet (following Ross on SUpL18)

Re: Why does it not sell?
Think the majority of the miles would have been done by the subsequent owner to ourselves as he used it as his company car. His Europa trade in came into MMC with mega miles for the car (80k I think) and in a very sorry state. Did joke with Brandon that I cannot believe he sold our car to an owner ...

Re: New(ish) car .. not really Lotus Content and a long wait..
Car looks great naked, shame you couldn't get it road licenced like that! It's all coming together, it's quite exciting just to see the posts you make, I can barely imagine what it's like waiting, anticipating, etc. The Jeep... there's a joke in there somewhere about them seeing you coming - with al...
