Re: I finally got one! (Edinburgh based)
Saw that one on Will's FB page and thought it looked great. l always liked Nautilus blue. As for putting the cat back on to quieten it down... what air filter is it running? Mine is pretty loud (not as loud as some!) fitting a cat didn't quieten it down as much as I'd have thought. I put it down to,...

Re: Jannarelly Design-1
I like the direction the styling is heading. Some of the lines don't quite flow enough for me, but it is a good looking car, the right sort of size, and the retro styling is lovely too. More cars like these please

Re: Best hot hatch for £10k
If your going to wear a medalion it has to have a complimenting chest rug. Ditch the 2.2 and go for a proper Alfa: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201907029653600?atmobcid=soc3 George Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk Pretty. Re: Best hot hatch for £10k
What could possibly rule out a BMW?! Me. Ali - good insight, did you try a Polo then? Ross - mk3 MINI is a munter but Mk2 not ruled out. Raws - I struggle with anything French. Ross is right, but you want the 5 door F55 not the 3 door F56 Mini. Not a great looker, but nice enough and the quality is...

Re: Anyone used TyreLeader?
Just to update this, tyres eventually turned up after 12 days (7 working days as there was a bank holiday weekend in there). All present and correct so as long as you’re not in a hurry then Tyre Leader are ok 👍🏼 Avoid Demon Tweeks like the plague. I'm coming up on 4 weeks for a pair of tyres and th...

Re: Car storage - done properly...
10 min 10. Just back from France and the unleaded regular pumps have all but disappeared, almost all "unleaded - 10" pumps now, the dreaded 10% ethanol, is that also the case in UK ? According to Lotus it is NOT compatible with K series engines, so I'm sticking to V Power 98 only now . This is down...

Re: S1 sticky windows. Old car troubles.
Mine still isn't done either. My attempt at re-bonding the plastic to the window failed, and any adjustment I've made on the window runner has also failed. I think I need better glue!

Re: I’m going racing!
I was there. You did well, it was clear to see confidence building through qualifying, and race 1. You seemed a bit keen to jump out of the way for the leaders coming through, but I wasn't exactly focusing on when blue flags were out and understand you wouldn't want to cause issues. It's a nice raci...

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bw_oe9YFloz/?igshid=12labvdscffv7  Looks more like Glenshee than NC500. Steve. Yep, I'd say the same. Is the Exige soft, or is it just the splitter that's really low (or indeed, down to the speed...) If that's where I think it is, my little S1 doesn't bottom out t...

Re: NC500 Bad Press
Had that too. Very frustrating but ultimately easier to take the hit and reverse. Still to do NC500! I’m unlikely ever to do it. I’ll continue to enjoy my best bits, generally up the west & north west. [emoji41] You might call it the CF490 [emoji23] Well, yes. In that case I'll probably never do it...

Re: NC500 Bad Press
We live on a single track road and get this all the time, never had someone get out of their car yet. Doubt that would end well TBH Had it not been a family of 4 in a crap box ancient worthless Focus facing just me, alone in the middle of nowhere in a Maserati, perhaps it would have been different,...

Re: NC500 Bad Press
It's always the minority who ruin it for everyone else, whether that is the idiot drivers doing 128mph or the idiot local putting tacks down. Both are just putting people at unnecessary risk. I was thinking of doing the NC500 in the Lotus this year, but may not bother. When I did it last year in the...
