full set of evora brake discs
I have a full set of Evora S1 brake discs, front and rear. They are 'as new' and have no wear on them but have been fitted to a car and have sat outside for a while resulting in a very light surface corrosion on them. They will clean up perfectly after the first couple of brake applications. RRP - £...

Re: Bilster Berg
Have a word with Dave at Seriously Lotus, he had some brand new gearboxes with Lsd fitted going very cheap.
Not sure if he has any left, you maybe lucky.

Re: F1 Hamilton vrs Rosberg
You could easily argue that rosberg was in the right setting for the start, even though he was in the wrong one. They both got off the line pretty much together, however rosberg then managed to drive right round the outside of him. It's just he didn't change it back quick enough... If it were me, I'...

Re: Javelin Trackdays
I did a Croft day with them two weeks ago, think it was my first day with javelin, cant remember now. There were quite a few race cars present (all club stuff) and the first hour or so on track was very busy with 10+ cars queuing to get out in the pit lane and a few ego's on track itself. However, a...

Re: Avon ZZRs Delaminated
Pretty sure avon revised the V6 spec ZZR's ealry last year. i recall they were having the same/similar problems in the trophy races with them. If the tyres were bought early last year then they could well be the last of the old stock you had on. It maybe worth a call to Avon to find out exactly what...

Re: Komotec Sequential Gearbox
Figure I have heard for the Kaps box is around 8.5k - 9k with all the gubbins, obviously fitting and integration on top of that. I believe you have to supply them a box to convert though as they use the original toyota bell housing to mate their bit up to. Uses original drivesahfts. Rated at 900nm… ...

They do seem really good value, I'd be asking the manufacturing date on them though. There may be a reason they are being pitched at the price they are...

Re: Donnington Oulton double header
Yes, the silver GTE is one of the twenty lotus reworked for road use and the red one i reworked for track use. I had no idea or intention of getting the red one, just happened to spot it when I was down there looking at my silver one being built and asked what was to become of it? They were on with ...

Re: Donnington Oulton double header
On track no different, better even as most tracks are clockwise and have more righthand corners, being over on the left of the car youre able to see more through them earlier. Also on track days you have the faster cars coming down your good side not the blind side. On the road certain junctions you...

Re: Donnington Oulton double header
Totally different animal, the elise with 20 litres was 800kg, the GTE is 1400kg with 40 litres (put it on the weigh scales at dinner).Mike Scib wrote:...but is as good as an Elise 260 Gav
Was going well though mind, its a very stable platform.

Re: Donnington Oulton double header
It wasnt a traditional autobox as you know tut, it was a robotised manual box that they had put into them. It was a hydraulically operated unit with a seperate ecu controlling it. It was one of the (many) reasons why the GTE's were never released back in 2011 when they first built them, they simply ...
