I will be heading through in my Elise on Sunday, there are a group of us meeting at Dobbies in Lasswade at 9.30am on Sunday morning, if anyone wants to tag along.

Wanted - S1 Elise Sports Exhaust and Induction Kit
Looking for a Sports Exhaust for my S1 Elise (k series), I don't want anything too loud, just a nice burble. Also looking for a Cold Air Induction Kit and a 52mm Throttle Body.

Re: Leather seats
The entire contents of an Ink Pen got spilled and soaked in to the (cloth) seats in my old (bmw) Mini Cooper, liberal use of hairspray and a clean cloth got it all out.

Re: cobra goldline 6019
When I try to turn the alarm off using the key in the box, I can't remove the key from the box when its in the off position, is this normal?
I have ordered some replacement key fob cases, as the originals are falling apart.

Re: cobra goldline 6019
Thanks for the replies.
I came to the conclusion that it was a Cobra 6019 after reading the Seloc Wiki, however the box under the dash which has the key to disable the alarm, states Cobra 5230 (4S5320STG), will investigate further tomorrow.

cobra goldline 6019
I wonder if anyone can give me some information on the Alarm/Immobiliser fitted to my 1997 S1. I believe it is a cobra goldline 6019, however I have no documentation to support this, it does have a cobra key switch under the dash, switches on the bonnet and boot, and a black box on the bulkhead betw...

Re: Need an Elise
I got an Elise on Sunday, P93BUB, LRG, MMC, 43k, its very clean and original, I drove it 215 miles back from Scarborough on Sunday and it never missed a beat. Although the same can't be said for my back and ears.

Re: Need an Elise
That was a good read, but I have a few questions?
Do they all suffer from shot blasting to the paint on the front end, and to the front of the rear arches?
What is considered a high mileage on an Elise?
Does the hardtop make a big difference or is the soft top fine?

Re: Need an Elise
Thanks for your input, I did see that one from Carnoustie, however I really don't like that colour especially with the contrasting Green roof and seats (and I have just sold a yellow car and fancy a change). I went and saw the Ruby Red one on Autotrader for £7k, it was a total shed, and would have n...
