Cover up the rad outlets in the bonnet and the vents over the engine bay. Melting snow over the engine makes it likely that water will find it's way into something and the snow on the rad outlets will block airflow - also when the rad's hot the snow will drop onto it, boil, and a cloud of steam wil...

Criminal Injuries Compensation Board should be contacted - they're normally good for pay-outs the way a Court would if the injury resulted from negligence

who else without a garage failed to put the car cover on?

First Winter with the Liz - the snow part won't be too bad for the car I reckon, but I fear that the thaw will mean puddles in the footwell! :?

hi guys,

whats the story if you meet a fellow loti driver and fancy a wee race on the public roads - after reading the 'Angry Blue S2' post in 'spotted' - is it enough to flash lights? Wave?

Cheers... not thatI'll be racing anyone in this blooming icy b*stard weather!

I bought one off ebay for £55 - "Coverzone" that was 'custom'; fitted for an elise. I aint had a chance to fit the swine yet coz I want to wash all the grime off the car 1st - to ensure it doesn't look like its been wet n' dried!

For £55, I doubt you can go wrong - afterall, showercaps go for £60+

saw a silver S1 on Leith walk, 10.30 am. Was walking from tescos with hangover, and thought I'd get a daft look if I waved from the pavement!

Was it you?
