Re: Le Man vs Le Man Classic 2020

Duggie you should get general entrance tickets no problem. The Grandstands are sold out but you don't need. Campsites a lot smaller. The campsites behind pits/village mainly gone as the new factory teams from Ferrari, Cadillac, Penske-Porsche etc needing all the space for their corporate F1 style p...

Re: Le Man vs Le Man Classic 2020

Yeah we're Lycian too We didn't do the food deal as you don't spend all day there, you're at the track. We had breakfast there, would watch some classic racing with coffee, and sometimes with beer in the evening. The 24 is a bit different to the Classic tho. The security is excellent so no worries a...

Re: Le Man vs Le Man Classic 2020

Good to hear Ian :thumbsup Looking like we're gonna be very Porsche heavy this year (last year the only one in our group was a 718 Spyder along with my Alfa, a Morgan Aero 8, and a Ferrari F12) - I'm likely to be paxing in a 997gt3, with 2 other Porsche, and a 360CS Rep, and a new Morgan Super3 :D W...

Shame, you could try a note again, but it's unlikely he'll sell.

Re: S1 S160 (now 111S) in Dundee a few times

A bit of a thread resurrection.... I still drive past this property regularly, and noticed the wee 111S hasn't moved, a quick check shows the MOT expired nearly 4yrs ago :( So after my good intentions It appears he ran it a couple of years and then let it sit again :| No shower cape this time

Re: Opinions on this car

you won’t need your Year 1 maintenance budget of £2k Curious with this - surely this isn't an annual requirement? In 4yrs of Cerbera ownership, the most I had was just over £1k for a 12k service (reputable TVR specialist not far from me - TVR Ecosse) and the 6k services were ~£400 🤔 Still toying wi...

Re: SIDC at Knockhill, Saturday 15th October 9am to 1pm

I had a brilliant day even though the weather was gash Had a few hairy as hell pax laps in my mate's Ultima - over 700bhp meant he just couldn't get the power down so was short shifting most of the time :damnfunny Was offered a pax in his dad's Mac M1C but wasn't sure I could fit in the "pax seat" (...

Re: Insurance renewal (for the Aygo so NLC).

They shelled out just under £30k to mend the broken bits and at renewal time the premium dropped to £250. Strange indeed Jim do ...
