Looking For a Silenced Decat

Anybody got a silenced decat that they’d be willing to sell?

Re: Elise YD02xxx at Knockhill on Sunday

Was wondering who that belonged to! Was a pretty reasonable event, shame the Knockhill weather conspired against it as usual!

Was funny to see the GT2 get demolished in a straight line by some family car Audi 😂

Re: Take back control

Try Etsy for reasonably priced stuff:

Transforged have also started selling Exige prints too!

I'm much more excited about the overnight solo runs in the 2-11 with just a wallet, 30 changes of underwear, and a toothbrush for getting the flies out my teeth! :D
That’s a lot of underwear, just how quickly are you going?

Just a pity actual racing is limited in it. Firewall (with the aim controller) is another jaw-dropper!

:welcome Nice VX! Used to have a red tubby years ago and loved it. When you make the move up, Duke's Pass is worth an exploratory drive....

Re: S1 Exige Dumbarton

Looks great, went on a few PCGB runs and enjoyed them. Looking for a new bunch to go out with now though! Good little run that; I love driving the A85 from Tyndrum to Connel - Road flows so well! Although I do need to do something about the suspension though, car gets a little lively at the back end...

Re: S1 Exige Dumbarton

Oh hey! Yeah spotted you and that blue GT3 on the way back from your run - was it PCGB? I live pretty near to there, swapped my orange Cayman Sport in for an Exige at the beginning of summer.

Nice 968 by the way

Re: Thoughts on Exiges?

Yup, fully intend to use as often as possible, bought a low mileage one (19k) so I’m not concerned about use!

Are you local, or were you touring about? See more lambos and Ferrari’s around my neck of the woods (Dumbarton) than I do Lotuses (Loti?!)...

Re: Thoughts on Exiges?

8 years - really?! I’m guessing you recognised the reg? Was on the way up to Oban, great trip and got friendly waves from most of the 9(!) McLarens I passed too! Loving the car since I got it fixed (gearchange bushes, de-cat) although not loving the suspension that tries to keep killing me on bumpy ...

Yeah you're probably right - tackling those rusty backing screw bolts is a job for another day I think!

Re: Rattly Trumpets

Yeah the backing plate screws are all tight, can’t see how the flare on the trumpet would be held by that though - the TB and trumpet base are tight, it’s just the top part that is loose. Maybe there’s some kind of retaining ring behind the plate?
