Re: Track Days 2019

Thinking of booking Spa in March again and staying in nurburg in the hope of the tourist days starting around that time (same as last year) if anyone else fancies it?
Even if touristfarten hasn’t started it’s worth it for the hot stone steak

Re: Dreaded Clutch Problem (Sport350)

Be interesting if the slave could be the culprit - what sometimes happens when an engine is mated to the gearbox using an adaptor plate (not sure how thick, perhaps 15-20mm typically), the slave cylinder runs out of stroke (as the g'box input spline and hence slave bearing are further from the clut...

Re: Take back control

I've got the silhouette of the Nurburgring on the wall above the stairs in my house which has so far managed to escape the "womans touch"

got it from: https://linearedge.com/ they have some quite nice options.

Re: All roads lead to Lotus... or do they?

Just to try and sway away from "zee Germanz" I have to say that I would be seriously tempted to this if I hadn't bought my V6... https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/lotus/exige-s3/2016-lotus-exige-s-360-cup-7-100-miles--ohlins-suspension-with-touch-screen-controller-carbon-seats-ac/922...

Re: French Frolic 2019

I definitely cannot make frolic this year due to holiday clashes. Signed up to dn to keep an eye on ring dates. Also there is the zandvoort and folembray option in May. Just waiting to see if the dates for the ring happen to coincide... Sounds like Springz is the one to go for then, keep us posted ...

Re: All roads lead to Lotus... or do they?

I don't think you can really compare an R8 V10 to an Exige, totally different cars in my opinion. From what you have said though Ross I'd still be leaning towards the Lotus.
