Re: Hot Marques - Sat 16th Feb 1-4pm - knockhill

Well, I was the fatest Lotus on track today* at the novice track day in the morning :D Couldn't do the afternoon due to other commitments and as I had only done one other open track day before, the novice one suited me too. Worked out really well with it being great weather and only 14 cars booked i...

Sorry to hear about this and glad you are OK The standing/cross-running water on the M9 between Linlithgow and Edinburgh is pretty bad after even some reasonable rainfall, never mind the stuff we have been getting recently. As well as you and CraigieB in the last few months I have heard of 2 others ...

Cheers for all the advice guys and offers of...err... help :? Stuck the kettle on for Mac's tip and while waiting for it to boil I slackened the wheel nuts and did a few fast runs over the cobbled rumble strip at the entrance to our road. Got some slight movement after that, enough to kick it off. N...

Hadn't heard of the hot water thing - might try that in the morning Mac.

can't get a wheel off

Any (constructive !) tips ? Went to change the brake pads this afternoon and can't get the front wheel off. Starting to think it's been welded on ! Are the s2 wheels flat mounted or are there any collars or anything ? Could be wheel has never been off (4 years old/14k miles) as looks like it is stil...

Is that 2nd picture taken at a funny angle or is there really such a gradient down to the first corner which I have never noticed before ?

Cameras usually 'flatten' a hilly track. Have never stood down there as a spectator and must be too focussed on the turn in point when driving.

not 100% sure TBH, but they do have the JM accident repair centre at wallyford. As its in the same group, they might well go there. Yep, pretty sure it is Wallyford. When I was last in at MMC and was looking at their used Loti I am sure they said most traded in Elises go to Wallyford to get their f...

 Sorry He did say that he wasn't changing price etc.. Round tips fit either standard or 111s grills so no need for any modifications  haha - don't worry about it. It's ebay - available to all ! Ended up going for a ridiculous price for a damaged exhaust - £160 or + p&p ....to Italy ! Yo...
