The first proper drive was an incredible feeling! Even better after all the wheels were pointing in the right direction

Used the guys at Automek in EK, there was 4 exige in getting seen to at the same time - highly recommended

Fitted the side grills today, quite proud of my home made effort

Car is 99% complete 😁 Still got to fit side grills and undertrays but that won’t take long. Had an issue with the rear brake binding on but think I’ve sorted it by freeing up the handbrake mechanism. Thought about it and if they cause any more issues I will - they are up to £65 per switch now for new pug ones if you can find them

Indicators turned out to be the hazard light switch in the end Took all the switches out as some were sticking and the fog light switch wasn’t engaging/disengaging so just an on/off button. Definitely an MOT failure. Cleaned them all out with electrical contact cleaner- what came out of them was sho...

Getting it back together now which is very rewarding.



some gremlins rearing their heads like indicators not working and washer pump dead. Going to be a brand new car at this rate of replacing parts

Always on plus side it gives me a chance to order parts I need and use the equipment on board to make brackets etc

I can remember that from my old one too, the over sill had rubber edge which I’ve ordered 👍🏼 It’s an awkward shape to PPF, esp the front lip. Will need to come up with something. Thanks guys, haven’t looked into PPF yet, might be worth doing the front and rear arches at least.

It is calypso (I hope) probably just the lighting in the garage it’s very red in the sun
