Avoid HP from my limited experience. 2 laptops, one failed with a design fault after 17 months (loads of suff on the web about it, they all do it sooner or later). the current one was through an HCI scheme at work, it's HP too but just a bit rubbish and has had to go back twice already.

It would seem at the moment as if they have decided that the Exige is their track/road car, the Elise R a fast road car and the S a not-as-fast-but-still-fast road car. The PH quote of pulling buyers away from MG and MX5 is worrying as one of thse no longer makes cars so isn't a great market to atta...

Ninja you are a star. I've emailed the architect who will hopefully send you the drawings, based on previous experience, within the next 6 months or so. Have a look at them and let me know how much you want - any questions get in touch. Will you need to inspect the property? Pete (I've emailed you m...

Thanks Mac, I think you are right about the walls and obviously any new walls will be built strong enough but will I still not need an engineer for the building warrant? The architect was doing it as a homer as it is such a small job, he said I'd need an engineer for something or another way back wh...

Oh if only it were so easy. The garage is essentially in two parts, the original part has a flat roof which has always leaked, according to the gardener who has worked for the house for years, probably because the drainage is comically bad. Then tacked onto the back is a glass/plastic/rotting wood l...

Maybe I've just been paying more attention to them as I get older and my pockets slightly deeper but the reviews now seem to be "better than they were" whereas a lot used to be "quite good." The BBC is saying their sales are down to 2 a week, wonder why. They would seem to have as strong a line up a...
