Jamie, a white S3 at Whitburn salvage auction this Monday 14th. Says Class N but aport from new front clam looks a bit stuffed, rads, lights, lots but worth a look if your fed up rebuilding Peugeots ; )

Re: Craig Moncrieff thank you.
Mik, I was in at Craigs this morning about 10.30 picking up my Elise after service & MOT. He said he was waiting on another customer from Glasgow coming to collect his Evora. Small world since we live 1.5 miles apart. We should schedule our servicing in future lol . Next April !

Re: STANDARD (LOW) POWERED ENGINE COMPARISON
OP back again. I've been reading all love as it has been posted. Seems a 220bhp is the way to go .... But to answer my question. I didn't find the 1.6 any faster than my 2.0MX5 and that seems to be born out by a few others. Not actually driven a 1.8 Toyota 134bhp yet. My 120bhp K makes a lovely soun...

Re: Formula 1 2018
a 5 place grid penalty for LH, new gearbox, and quali doesn't start until tomorrow. Seriously!, do Liberty expect us to tune in and watch this sh*t. My first televised GP was Argentina 1979 , grainy black & white on BBC2, Jacques Laffite in a Ligier. I'm now thinking Australia 12 days ago is my last...

STANDARD (LOW) POWERED ENGINE COMPARISON
So starting a new thread from something Campbell mentioned on TG thread. “The 1.6 was a great concept, but never quite quick enough. I think EU emission regs killed the 1.8 134bhp engine, which had better torque and needed only 5 ratios to get the best out of it. Having driven both in close proximit...

Re: Top Gear 2017
Alpine looks a good car but very optimistically priced. Like the Alfa 4C will be a rare sight as the masses will stick to Coxsters n Caymans . I note Lotus have killed off the 134bhp Elise, only SCs available now. Maybe that is the way. Everyone trying to climb upmarket and up price .
