How about I bring some beer? Working for Heineken has some advantages. :thumbsup

Although I don't really want to promote drinking and driving so that doesn't really work! :?

Well how about 10th of April? It's a week on Sunday :?:

Only thing is it's a GP weekend but we can probably show it on the TV, but that might detract from the demonstrations? Your thoughts please.....

Ah... possible re-think on the date in that case.... 23rd April any good if it needs to move? That's a Saturday and my birthday is on the Monday lol so we may well be able to follow on with an Edinbeers if anybody is up for a friendly quiet drink lol? Camping seems to be on the Fri and Sat nights so a wee run up through the borders to Edinburgh in time for a Sunday afternoon demo, would that work or are you doing the DC museum for the GP?

23rd is Easter weekend - not an issue for me but might clash with domestic arrangements for some?

Can I donate one, or even two cars for (positive) demos?!?! I have two polar opposite examples to offer, an ageing S1 that I've polished myself as best I can but has tired 12-yr-old panels, and a 2-year old Skoda that's only been washed about once a month on average and NEVER been properly polished yet

Or has Andy G already bagged that slot with his Tesco-Car-Park-sized fleet :damnfunny

What about pushing it towards the Royal Wedding May Bank Hol "weekend"?

I would be interested as well, kids 'mid term' break early April so away weekend of 8th and late April is Easter weekend so some of april doesn't suit but hope it is a date I can come along.
As I guess a lot of others feel, I would like some theory, knowledge, skill and basic equipment to make my cars look a whole lot better than they do at moment even if it is a fair bit off the magic of the professionals.

Why not get a date in the diary then :thumbsup

April 30th or May 7th?

Morning detail demo, and then BBQ for lunch? I'll return to the mantle of chef.

I'll get in touch with Ally Rennie and see what suits him but May the 7th or 8th works best for us! I'll pop

MAY 7th or 8th in the diary as the date for now... Can you all make it along then?

Thanks

7th is a good call.

8th is going to be the May edition of Lotus Breakfast Club, rumoured to be held at a unique high profile venue, so wouldn't want to give people a big diary clash :-)
