12v Car buffer & cheap wax

Post by Sanjøy » Sun Mar 25, 2007 7:42 pm

Was doing the beemer so thought I would finish off the cheapo wax (£4.99) I had from years back and try out the rotary car buffer a mate lent me.

Two buck wash
Clay
Rinse. 2 hours
Wax on with kitchen towel 45 mins
Buff with rotary doofer 45 mins

Had to dash down to bham on Thurs night as mum had a wee heart scare (all good now although incompetent doc but that is another rant) and came back and car was filthy. Use the car daily and hate getting my whistles mucky off the car getting in and out. Also personally I am a shiny shoes to work man and car is the same.

TF Polish the landy ? Happily actually as I find it very theraputic and it is one of the only bits of manual labour I do and give nice satisfaction warmth :)

Tom not sent it down yet as had a slut of things on and need to get it sorted ASAP as one car between two aint going to work! Anyone got a car Sarah can use next weekend ?

Hence the need to get some wax protection on there before it rusts away. Landies are not known for rust are they ?

Sanjoy

There is a suspicious looking bugger with a wooley half hiding his face taking photos of your car........

Looks like a recce job before he half hitches it to his mates lock up garage under the railway arches.

He has a girly bracelet on too by the looks on it.

When can I have a go with my hand held unit on N1 ?!

SP (So sad he wears cashmere when polishing cars so as not to affect the finish, looser fact #232)
