Looks great m8 , You are obviously a pro ! , I sh*t it at the thought of using a rotary polisher on my car , Thats why Dave McLean (fitting name eh ) is comming to do mines soon hopefully , Had to cancel twice due to weather.

Howd you go about doing the rasied letters ? bit of tape across the panel to get straight line or what ?

You know I'd love to travel the country detailing cars for a living , Some of the pros must make a fortune plus you get to work with some crackin cars.

Great buisness Idea I think , One man band with a van £200-£500 per detail possibly daily ?

Tell me bout it m8 , I aint looking forward to it . The exige was one of the many things I had to get out my system taking on a large mortgage , She agreed with that one , She isnt quite comming round to the quad bike one as of yet But I am still working on it

Great work and prep has gone into achieving a highly-durable wet and glossy looking car.

It's all worth the effort, then the maintenance is basically very straightforward.

A very underrated colour IMO and a beauty of a car. Good job!

What wax do you think leaves the best wet look finish on a car? i.e. black exige

I have been having to wax the car myself lately as I had to spend a bit of cash on maintanance so looking to try some new stuff out!

Depends really on the budget.....

Zymol Concours can be had for around the £110 mark if you buy it in the states ( but you are not allowed to do that remember, Zymol Europe have a bit of an issue with that.......................... ). Now if anyone was to possibly interested in some of this and I was about to order some, then I would say Pm me......but of course being a good lad I wouldn't ever ever do anything like that ( delivery takes about a week to 10 days usually.... ). That is the wax that I used on both Lewis's Exige and Graeme's Scandal green Elise, stunning!!

The Dodo Juice ( http://www.dodojuice.com ) range is also very good. It is around the £30 per jar and comes in a wide range of "colour charges" now. They are not designed for red / blue / silver cars as such, more warm / cold type of finish.

Then a firm favourite for a great durable finish is Harly Wax at around £17 a tin, again very very good. I tend to use this for the harder worked cars ( 4x4 etc ) where the finish, ( whilst still very deep and gives a great shine ) is playing second fiddle a little to the hardness of the finish. Very easy to work with and water repelancy / beading is very good and lasts ages.

Thats the 3 main ones I use, everyone has their own favourites I know but I have tried most and these work for me!!!

Not much more to add to what's already been posted by Ally. Victoria Concours is a really good wax for the money (I think it's about 25 quid). Gives a good deep finish. Collinite 476 is super durable - good for the winter. My favourite is Swissvax Best of Show but it ain't cheap. If there's something you'd like to try give me shout.
