Re: Polishing advice
Jings, I just used turtle wax 2 in 1 wash and wax. £4.99 for super concentrated bottle. And that's only because I got told off for using Aldi's own washing up liquid!

Uh, don't listen to them Ali, they are just being VX snobs.
BTW, my sister says she washes my nephews' lego in the cutlery section of the dishwasher, so I guess fairy liquid will be just fine for it.

Re: Polishing advice
Back in the 90's I washed a company Cavalier in fairy liquid on a weekly basis, it really f---ked up the paint work, apparently washing up liquid softens the paint work. It sure made a right mess on mine, ended up with a matt finish.smoo25 wrote:Jings, I just used turtle wax 2 in 1 wash and wax. £4.99 for super concentrated bottle. Hope you didn't use it for too long !!!
Cheers
Re: Polishing advice
Cheers, no I've only washed it a couple times anyway! If it's lucky it might get a wee rinse tomorrowKinger wrote:Back in the 90's I washed a company Cavalier in fairy liquid on a weekly basis, it really f---ked up the paint work, apparently washing up liquid softens the paint work. What, you've washed it already !!!. ( OK my hose was frozen)
Can I bring the Exige over so you can show me how that "Clay mitt" thingy works.
Great day out, although a bit slippy in the shaded area's.

Re: Polishing advice
Hi Tut,
It was a real spur of the minute thing, I was still in bed having a long lye in on my last day before going back to work when I got a text from Martin and he said he was heading out. I asked if he wanted company so it was a case of out of bed and straight into car to meet him in Westhill. We were only out for a few hours as we both had to be home for our other halves.
