All the loose stiches have been repleced, the plastic rails are all new (conpletely snapped and with the locating tab awol before) , its been re-waterproofed, replaced the steel tensioning cables, generally looks far healthier and is now black instead of charcoal 
They've also replaced the elastic, so now i can see the actual purpose of it 
and after fitting, the roof is like a drum - it hardly needs the allen key bits tightened. Total cost was £50 + £15 P&P +Vat = £75 - an absolute bargain especially consideding it was OEM repaired. Darren at MMC parts has also been a good help with this and all the other bits in general
