Popped over to see Mark and Ali on Wednesday, all good to go for the 7th at the moment.

If anyone has anything in particular they want to see, know, try then let us know and we can hopefully sort something out.

I'm thinking some paintwork correction demo's, with some explainations on different pads, compounds, what they all do and differences between them.

I Will have the tornador gun with me to show what it can do on interiors and engines ( This is the gun I used on Mass's Lambo engine, video is on here somewhere ).

I will have Meguiars wheel brightener with me, but also the new "Wolfs" product that Polished Bliss stock ( Not tried it yet but John assures me its awesome!! ).

With regards to stock, I don't plan to bring loads of stuff that might sell, might not, but if anyone wants anything in particular then let me know or send our friend from Polished Bliss a PM on here and i'm sure they will look after you all as always.

Cheers

I've just invested in a porter cable dual action polisher which has came with the Sonos pads. I'm looking to find out which polish I should use on the cars, through researching I've seen Sonos do a 1,2 and 3 stage polish which I believe 2 and 3 would be suitable with the cars.

Then I have looked at the blackfire stuff to finally seal.

I would like to find out the full process I should be looking at doing. My understanding would be to start with clay baring the car then the number 2 Sonos then 3 Sonos then seal with blackfire after washing.

Also keen to learn proper washing technique as looking to buy a couple of buckets and lambs wool mitt for washing rather than my one buckets with a micro fibre mitt I use currently.

Also the correct way to use the machine polishers without damaging the paintwork on the cars as I'm not confidant at diving in. Watching a few videos on YouTube there is lots of explanation so I have a vague idea of the process but nothing will beat seeing in it real life :thumbsup

Can surely do this scott not a problem.

Just had a thought, not sure how everyone feels though - we could possibly do a charity job here.......

We are pretty much going to cover a full session on the day, as we have the facilities then we could go for wheels off, arches cleaned properly, wheels cleaned inside and out, full wash process with grilles and vents etc removed, seats removed and interior properly cleaned, the full deal.....

Obviously it would take a hand from a few people but more than possible in a day.....

donation to charity or even a raffle? thoughts?

9. Ian D (happy to meet any Weegie's on the way and plan a drive to get there dependant on start time)

Generally want to know the basics of polish, wax, sealants what order to do it / how often, what the differences between products achieve and what not to put together. Also how to keep my black wheels clean and shiny. Didn't read up or understand much before i discovered the polishedbliss website which has been a great source of valuable information (and some money spending !) Thinking of going to next level and buying a dual action polisher in next few weeks.

Morning all,

Speaking with Shug, this years AMP3 charity is the British Heart Foundation, something very close to a lot of people on this forum.

No one fancy making a donation in exchange for their car to be transformed on the detailing day?

Woulnd't need to pay it upfront or anything, just as long as the gentlemans agreement is there!

Otherwise its Marks old Golf thats getting it, and believe me if thats the case I better start on it today!!!

Cheers!!
