Rusty rear calipers and discs

Post by m.crawford » Fri Jul 25, 2008 1:17 pm

The previous owner of my Elise did not use it much and as a result there is a bit of a rusty coating on the rear brake calipers and round the part of the discs where the pads do not make contact. I was considering using a natural rust remover to try to shift this but wondered if anyone might have any advice on this one, maybe a recommended product etc?

wire brush + Elbow grease or drive it lot's and brake hard this will replace the coating of rust with a coating of brake dust - problem solved :thumbsup
