Stone Chips

Post by DavieK » Tue Mar 10, 2009 1:14 am

I've ordered some touch up paint as the front of the Elise is like the surface of the moon and would like some advice ......

I'm going to do the usual but i can only get 1200 wet and dry and as its been so long since ive had to do this i dont know if 1200 will be OK to polish out or if it'll be a nightmare.

so 1200 wet and dry soaked in soapy water etc. or should i try and get hold of something finer ?

You will be ok with 1200 sir, will polish up no problems.

I recently went down as far as 800 grit on a Jag XKR-S and it polished up fine so no worries with the 1200, just don't go radge ( Edinburgh speak mode on )
