Elise Dash

Still looking to get some free time to give the elise

A) a proper run
B) a bloody good clean

I'm pretty much sorted for stuff to clean the car but the only thing I could be done with is something for the inside ..... the likes of the top of the dash I'm not sure what to clean it with and the seats are ... im not sure .... think it's just worn Alcantara? (S1 160 original seats)

any pointers for the above would be very helpful !

Davie,

The best thing to do is ask allyrennie (Ally from 360complete) if he has any advice or production recommendations.

Alternatively, should he not wish to give away his trade secrets ;-) then I can tell you that I just use a sponge with the regular car shampoo to wipe down the dash (assuming yours is still trimmed only in the original crackle-finish plastic), this picks up the dust quite well. And for alcantara seats, the worst I've had to treat were in Robin's old blue S2, and Halfords apple-fresh foaming upholstery cleaner with a good sponging did them proud too!

I use Poorboy's Natural Look for the black plastic sill covers on my S2 and the black windscreen surround, etc. It doesn't leave that horrible shiny used-car look. Great at removing scuffs, etc. Try it on a small area first to make sure you're happy with the finish. It's not completely matt, but it doesn't leave that horrible shiny residue that some products leave.
