Cleaning Black Alloys

Any recommendations for cleaning black alloys. They are std lotus lightweight one but in black.

Dont want to use something which will wreck them.

I generally don't like wheel cleaners, and especially not on black alloys (which I have too). Just use the same stuff you use on the bodywork (in a different bucket though) and use some wheel brushes like these:

If you want something a bit more aggressive, I sometimes let the wheels soak in R222 autowash for a few minutes before scrubbing them with the above brush and then rinsing off:

If you have any tar on the wheels, you could try a bit of tardis, but make sure you wipe and rinse it off straight after the tar has dissolved:

thanks for that, will order some R222 not sure about the tardis stuff, it has a health warning LOL

R222 will be good for my mrs's STI as the new pads on it are a nightmare for breakdust.
