Ok, Don't want to bore everyone with yet another shiney car thread, but this was something else!!! The car was looking a tad tired on arrival, but after a days correction and protection I achieved some stunning results. For darker coloured cars I am now using a product called blackfire...

Talk about a wet look on a car, just awesome ( Can I use "your" word Andy please?!? )

How did you apply / remove it sir?

From my own experince ( And that of a few others ) if allpied by hand then removed at high speed with a DA or better still a rotary, then the friction and heat build up allows the Polymers to react differently hence the finish. Its Blackfire I used on Andy's new Evora ( Orange ) and it really was a different car once finished.

Cheers!!!

Ally,
I do it by hand, guys at polish bliss didn't recon it was worth the hassle of using a da polisher on the Exige due to the amount of masking off required but I'm beginning to wonder weather it would be worth getting one looking at the way that Exige turned out. It is getting more wet looking the more coats I put on but being a lighter colour doubt it will ever pop the way black does.

Amazing stuff, really quick to use. Definite recommendation.

Done by hand, I do now have a DA polisher but not got the right pads for this stuff.................yet.
