Paint cleaning/renovating

Not for the car, I've bought a bike and the red paint is looking quite dull and faded on the plastic fairings (the same red on the tank seems fine)

I've done the usual - a bit of claybar, some T Cut, even a little rubbing compound by hand, followed by a bunch of megaiurs stuff and whilst it's looking better it's still lacking clarity.

Any ideas?

Do any of our valeting guys do bikes - I'm sure we could get enough to cover a full day?

Cheers

Mac

Bikes are a pain to do, not sure if it's because the process or paint is different but had this problem in the past. No help I know but might just be that the fairing is plastic and the tank metal.

Same principles apply to plastics sir as metal, just different compounds and pads, less heat and less speed!!!
