Could anyone recommend a garage/individual who can work on my Exige around the Glasgow ~ Dumbarton area. I'm looking for an assortment of work to be done from intercooler and brake upgrades to general servicing.
Thanks in advance.

Tell them I sent you Brian. Gary has done work on my Europa and has also worked on an Elise that belongs to one of his neighbours. Keith

Did the final bits on mine before I sold it. Oil change and suchlike.
Can't recommend one way or another but he wasn't fazed at all if that makes sense (I can't be the only one who has had garages say "errm where's the engine?").
Nizzy my garage is empty but for wayyy too many bikes and a newly acquired cadet kart.
Don't use your car park. Use my garage.

okay, slightly more difficult this time. Just got a full 4-1 2bular system so need some tuning before break anything. What about ECU remapping? Other than sending my ECU south to be flashed can anyone recommend a Lotus specialist north of the border?
Thanks again.

My understanding is that the only people in the UK who can do a full custom map on the Lotus Yota ECU are Essex Motorsport (formerly Sinclairs). All the others just load predefined maps, and even there the options are limited to a handful of companies, none of them in Scotland. Loads of good info about the upgrade options over on Exiges.com

Yeah, i'm on there too and have read all the posts about Sincs being the place to go. I am waiting on Sinc's coming back to me with a price etc but lived in hope someone up here could do it. Sinc's it is, cheers anyway.

Hey Dirkpitt, thanks for that offer. I've got a TRD box, full 2bular 4-1 header, decat and the new H2 trackday GT3 silencer (and the PEK to match) and powerflex engine mounts to stop the car falling apart. I'm just trying to decide what chargecooler to go for and it'll be heading south to get the injectors/pump upgraded and the rest fitted. Brakes will come in very handy after it's been tuned i think, so i'll be sure to give you a shout!
Did i see you last night heading up springburn road in Glasgow about 5:15~30ish?

blimey b12anr,
Your not wasting any time on mods lol. Think that’s the full Monty your doing there

i assuming your going to Sinclair’s for a full ECU tune up....are you going to fit a 3.5 pulley as well?
yeah that was me prob...going to Tesco’s for fuel. im using the momentum 99 these days. she seems happy on it.
anyway, if you need any help let me know......
leigh
PS....oh there’s a PH run on the 13th match...its in the meets section take a look. Theses a few elises going so it would be good if another exige went along; thats, if your car isn’t in for more mods

I know, i get bored easily i'm afraid. Not sure about the pulley but I'm fitting 550 injectors to allow extra upgrades at a later date. I'll wait and see what EA say about the pulley. It's the trek down south that's annoying me to get it all setup. No doubt it'll be worth it though.
I'll have a look at the meets section
