Bugger - Concrete Dust

Hey all,

In my infinite stupidity I forgot they were blowing up the Dundee Multi's today. As such I left my car out of the garage and it's now sitting under a few cm's of concrete dust as they just blew them all up!

As it happens I washed and waxed the car yesterday (sods law) but I am wondering what the best method is for getting the dust off the car without ruining the paint work?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated

I'd have thought that your fresh wax will save it, so just hose it down with copious amounts of water and it should just slide off.

Pressure wash it thoroughly. If you have a foam lance, foam it with a shampoo solution and try to let it soak into the dust to soften it too then a REALLY careful 2 bucket wash: http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog ... rying.html
