Car wrappers
Hey all,
Thinking of doing something silly and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a car wrapper?
I still have a little distrust around the whole thing, but that's just due to the very early horror stories, I'm sure it's all been worked out now
So, if anyone has anyone they'd be willing to recommend for a quote please let me know.
Cheers
-Mark.

Chameleon Vehicle wraps in Dundee (yes Dundee. I was as surprised as anyone)

Sean, the guy who does the wrapping is one of the top dogs in vehicle wrapping and flies all over the place doing high-end stuff for the likes of the Gumball rally folk and all that jazz.

Thanks Jim...thinking of doing a type 49 on my elise...only top half blue
Re: Car wrappers
I've often thought of a wrap... I really wanted a chrome Orange Exige but settled for carbon grey after prioritising condition mileage and spec over colour... Not sure it's wise or not.

Re: Car wrappers
A guy in my work is thinking of setting up a business using the Plasticoat spray on cars. He reckons it's better than a wrap and cheaper. Mind he hasn't done the course yet...
I was trying to convince him that he should paint Elises cheap because they are so small. I even offered to let him do mine as a trial, he'll surely need something to practice on.
I'll let you know how I get on.

I thought your car had one of those grey textured wraps?
Re: Car wrappers
Anyone know the costs of fitting these wraps to an elise?

Re: Car wrappers
Circa £1400 - £1600 for a full elise wrap. ...or so I have been told in the past.mxvx wrote:Anyone know the costs of fitting these wraps to an elise?

I was thinking about it when I got the paint touched up over the winter, even did a mock up:Dominic wrote:The Type 49 at Croft looked the business.... was that your inspiration?StiflerMR2 wrote:Thanks Jim...thinking of doing a type 49 on my elise...only top half blue
But yes, was speaking to the guy as we shared a garage, his was just a wrap as well and it reignited the desire....as long as the price is right
Re: Car wrappers
That looks great! Do it, do it, do it......
