Regular Cleaning Contracts?

Post by EliseR » Sat Jun 16, 2007 10:32 am

Hello,

For the lazy / too busy / filthy rich brigade, can you recommend any decent companies who operate from Edinburgh (or relatively closebuy), who can keep my car in tip top shape? I haven't the time to devote to keeping the car as clean as I would like, and nor have I the patience for waxing etc.

I would like to have someone clean my car twice monthly and apply polish and wax when required.

Any specific recommendations?

Gary.

Not sure what their prices are like, but they know their stuff. Or, better yet, ask them to recommend products, buy them, and get your finger out and do it yourself! ;) :thumbsup It's a satisfying job keeping your wee plastic car looking nice! 8)

I generally wouldn't let anyone else clean my car as I'm far too fussy about how it's cleaned, but I would definitely trust these guys to do it.

I tried cleaning it last week - after 30 minutes I wanted to headbut the pavement in frustration. Tar Spots are tough work, and I gave up.

Have emailed them, hoping they have a "mobile division" - night shift even better ;)

Yup unfortunately :(

I have a double garage, but converted it to a gym and spa, which I sometimes regret.

Get yourself a clay bar (see the website above). Tar spots come off with ease! :thumbsup

:P Suits us just now, but already getting the itch to move - would love to live in the country somewhere...I like my privacy, but need access to the hustle and bustle. I would love a big house at the foot of the pentlands...

That's me signed up for a monthly contract with Polished Bliss. First visit in a month or so, then monthly from then on.

Have seen a few photo's of their work, looks like I would struggle to be able to do that with my level of expertise (none), and time available (none).

They have put me on some Zymol vintage stuff, £1,800 a pot, but doing my calc's, only a third of a pot will be used in year one. No idea what it's for but he swears it's the mutts nutts, and a few of you on here have given this guy the thumbs up.
