Turtle Wax jet wash EH3

Post by Sanjøy » Mon Jan 16, 2006 3:55 pm

Jsut used the Turtle Wash jetwash mchine in Bruntsflied. HOW GOOD?!
Brush has a special bin so less likely to be lefto n the ground. Tested i on teh Rav and was impressed.

£1 for 3 mins, you then select what you want low pressure cold , high press hot, lance, brush, foam, wax etc.

Definately worth checking out, only petrol on the main road in BruntsfieldThink it is BP.

I used the one at the petrol station just up from tollcross (the bp just before you turn up towards edinburgh bicycle, that the one you mean?) There is also one at the Shell heading down the road away from the meadows.

Liked the swirly colours and how nice does it smell!? Thought it was cheap aswell

The new Morrisons in Livi has similar machines, not branded by Turtle Wax though, it's only 25pence per minute.

I've used it on the elise a couple of times, just hot shampoo on, cold jet off and hot wax finish, did a reasonable job.

Always nervous about the brush scratching but 25p per minute to jetwash is a buttons!

Prob the same machines.

Top tip - I always use the cold high pressure and use it to clean the brush before using it.

I just used it to get rid of the worst of the grime on the elise and to blast the wheels.

And I used it on my van too.

Cars are for driving not "handwashing"

Must have the pressure on the washer too high G, it's knocked your plate off.
