Ross i use all my NCB on the liz and started again with the other car.

If you have more than 1 car then the NCD does apply to the car rather than the driver. ie you need 1 lot of NCD for the elise, then you need to accumulate another lot of NCD for the 2nd car. However, some/most companies now 'mirror' your NCD and effectively give you the 2nd car quote based on your original NCD. Sounds like the Elephant quote did that but would be wise to check since once you take out the insurance policy the company tend to ask you for proof of the NCD you have for that car.

Another vote for A-Plan from me!

I too did not realise that your NCD could only be applied to one car at a time until I started getting quotes for my Elise a couple of weeks ago :roll:

I tried Admirals 'multi-car' policy for my 7 and Elise but A-Plan saved me just over £200 compared to them (I have kept my insurance with my 7 however with Admiral as A-Plan could only just beat it so it wasn't worth changing)

It worked out cheaper to keep my NCD applied to my 7 though but that's probably just due to the value of it.
