I am endorsement free (touch wood), one claim in '06, decent post code, various qualifications and I think I am similar to Jamie (will have to check).

Jamie,
This isn't a dig, but that sounds ok considering your endorsements, we all wish we paid less?
Neil,
Is your exige sorted yet (again, not a a dig)?

Yes its fixed, as of about 2 weeks ago - only took 4.5 months.... Planning to get Ally to detail it then I'll get some before and after pics up. Not seen it myself yet but I'm told Steve Walkers did a good job. I think I'll be doing a couple of Walshy days before going anywhere near a track again.

I was about £700 last year with zero no claims, 31, Exige S, garaged, Admiral, based on 4000 miles per year. I was happy with that.

Rang about 8 different places. Very quickly whittled it down to 4 all of whom were excellent and similarly competitive and I'd def. recommend them to anyone facing the annual ring-round :thumbsup . They are Chris Knott, Heritage, Richard Egger and A-Plan.

Ended up staying with Chris Knott. Cost is up slightly but endless phonecalls later I've whittled it down to £392 FC with £350 excess. 12,000miles w. commuting, all mods declared, myself and my wife, both 7yrs protected NCB, Cobra/Tracker, overnight in carpark.

Also always worth mentioning Carlimits days/LOT/seloc/SE membership for Lotus discount etc. :D

Good news :D . Left it for a day or two and phoned A-Plan back. Said Chris Knott had matched and did they want to do any better, and they did. The guy didn't want to get into a back and forward thing, and asked what it'd have to be for me to commit there and then. Long story short, I got it for £359 with a £350 excess :D .

:thumbsup for A-Plan, and the guy's name was Dan. Nice chap and very helpful.

34 full no claims and a clean licence well 3 pts 38 mths ago so they're spent but insurance as for last 5 years worth? S1 111s with uprated suspension and brakes and sports exhaust and filter, £350... £300 excess and that's with full motor legal protection etc etc and protected no claims... Renewal due in a week so a bit of shopping around will be done to see if richard egger or CCI can beat that???

:thumbsup
