Who would want to insure me?

Post by smee » Tue Nov 13, 2007 9:28 pm

I can't believe the varied list of quotes I got, A-plan were £2200, AA were £1200 and Admiral was £630! Ok it was for the bonus accelerator but I wouldn't have been able to afford it at the other prices and that was a single car policy, multicar it was over £900, same details, comprehensive, excess etc. Adding GF as a driver and living together really helped though. Excess is £250 compulsory and £100 optional and includes legal fees, replacement car etc. No NCD as new policy and hell I'm 23 for crying out loud, my first car a 1 litre 106 cost me £660 3rd party and was once quoted FIFTEEN GRAND for a 660cc cappuccino a year later! I called them to confirm details etc a couple weeks ago and when I retrieved my quote tonight and went to pay it jumped up £60! After 3 calls to them and a lot of hold tunes they listend to the previous phone call and honoured the original price. Quite pleased. Pick up the car tomorrow.
