Doing the ring round, and got a good quote from A Plan. Just spoke to Chris Knott and came up trumps :D .

28 YO, with my wife included
Unsecured car park
Factory Cat 1 Alarm, and Tracker Retrieve
Mods (S2 suspension, ally throttle body, Janspeed ex.)
12,000miles with commuting

£350 :D :D

Only prob being the excess of £450....

A Plan said £389 with same excess, but poss willing to be flex on the excess so will make a few more calls and see if I can get it sharpened up a bit. Good result so far though.

Woo Hoo :D :D

Couple more calls and Chris Knott have offered £350 premium with a £350 excess :D Happy with that so that's me for another year.

:thumbsup for Chris Knott, and for Kim who sorted the premium.

Also, you get a 90 day greencard free, which is sweet as we've got FF7 coming up. Just have to see what happens when I try and add Ed (ahem...6 points  ) for the trip...

Don't think so. Can't remember if I asked or not... One thing that one company said (poss CCI- and if they said it then it's prob true for most...) was only UK trackdays. Don't know if that's the same across the board.. Either way, it'll only be FF and poss a bit of KH action for me over the next few years given the lack of funds...

Usual rigmarole again, this time for the Volvo. Managed to knock the renewal down from £294 to £203.70 with Direct Line with £300 excess. It seems the big companies are less able to be beaten down (unless you get a manager etc...).

Chris Knott then came up with £200 FC, with only a £100 excess. It seems they're competitive with ordinary cars as well as Loti etc. and they're a lot easier to haggle with :D . The bigger boys just say "computer says no...".

:thumbsup again for Kim @ Chris Knott.
