The Elise was on a track policy with the aforementioned and that expires on the 5th April. Called them and advised that the Elise has become an RS6 avant and asked if they would transfer cover. Unsurprisingly, the barge is not something they would normally cover under their '2-seater sports car policy' but as a good will gesture they undertook to do so until the end of the policy.

The price to move from 150 - 450 bhp? £20.

Excellent service and highly recommended

Renewal came through from Bell: £390 fully comp + protected. Called Richard Egger, £699 but that includes 4 trackdays. Though it would be a little more but not that much more.

What are you guys paying?

That does seem high. As far as I know there is no extra charge for the trackdays. In theory they only cover sports cars that are going to be tracked.

My premium for N3, S/C Honda and 11 points was £280, but the lowest premium that they charge is £300, so that is what I am on.

Just had an interesting chat with them. They couldn't beat the quote I had from Henderson Taylor but I did pick up a worrying snippet. If you use your car for commuting its only covered if it's parked in a work car park  - my place has about 20 spaces so loads of us end up parked out in the pay and display on the road. Need to check the T's and C's of my current policy

Now insured with them, best by a long way.

Worth mentioning, as it will apply to many here, you will get a discount for both being a member of a club (SIDC, LoT, etc) and having attended a Walshy day at Carlimits. and on that note many thanks to Di at Carlimits for getting back to me so quickly
