Thumbs up for CCI

Post by jj » Wed Jun 10, 2009 10:09 pm

Renewal due this week, so called a couple of places as didnt like what Flux were trying to charge.

CCI came up trumps, me and the bird (26+25 yo) bammed up elise with bodykit, wrong engine, and agreed value at £22k, total policy £616. Cannot sniff at that, so a :thumbsup to them from me. Refreshing to tell someone the spec of the car and not get a long silent pause down the phone

Just got my renewal from Richard Egger for N3, and they have actually reduced it to £290, which for a S/C Honda and 11 points is not bad.

They must have heard of my driving talent..........

Richard wanted almost £900 for the same cover. The chap on the phone at CCI was that helpful that I just carried on and took out the policy rather than waste more time phoning around and being told stupid quotes or no due to age, as some companies have an age related 28years old plus .

The agreed value is probably the best thing, as it at least means I could almost build another should the worst happen.
