Insurance due this week

Post by meatball » Mon Aug 03, 2009 7:02 pm

So having had a lookie around this section (and getting a bit frazzled!), it looks like
-Admiral do a good price
-CCI do a good price but are giving a SE'r hassle after a claim
-Richard Egger seem ok too.

Does that sum up what people are finding at the moment?

Oh, and Scotty recommends Pearts?

What car are you insuring Campbell? RE only cover sports cars, and preferably cars that are tracked.

My best quote was with CCI, and I know Brian is having bother with them but RE wouldn't give us an agreed value either ("in the present financial climate"), so as long as we keep receipts etc for the conversion, we should be ok (or so they both say :? ). Chris Knott couldn't get anywhere near CCI and I haven't tried Admiral for the Lotus (we're with them for the Clio). Not going to bother as they wont do trackday cover anyway and I would prefer to have that............

Happy Hunting!! :D

Not just Brian who has had hassle with CCI. I am with them as got a fantastically cheap quote at end of last year however they would not fully cover my rear window claim as was over their glass limit hence did the rear clam part myself. Get what you pay for I suppose... :(
'03 Elise 111S - Sold :(
'55 Boxster S - Sold :(
'08 Exige S 240PP - Sold :(

Doh.....too late.....or will I do it anyway?
Chris Knott seem to have hearing problems......the details I gave them didn't resemble what they sent me! Thankfully the tapes don't lie!
