Insurance for Exige S - recommendations

Post by caveman » Thu Nov 25, 2010 9:37 pm

Anyone got any insurance recommendations for the Lotus? Had my renewal from elephant but interested to see if there's anything better out there. I'm 26, which seems to cause a few problems when getting premiums from some places. Also have 3 points and only 3yrsNCD.

Give Mary a call at REIS(Richard Egger) on 0115 9850165, tell her that you track it as that is beneficial, you are over 25, she will not bother with 3 points, I had 11, and three year NCB is quite healthy.

Also try CCI.

I'm with REIS (01159850165). I'm £568.94 fully comp which includes trackday cover for 4 events.

I'm 35, I have maximum NCB protected, only SDP usage.

Only thing i don't have is windscreen cover! well.. i do upto £500 which is useless but REIS can't/won't change it. Make sure yours is covered if you choose them!

I'm 23 and I insurance my Exige through Bell.co.uk (part of Elephant). Have insured it through them since I was 21 and they have been the cheapest I could find!

Hi mate,

There is a whole forum dedicated to insurance with just this sort of query on it - check through that for more ideas of what people are paying.

Elephant or Admiral have always been cheapest for me by far!
