Hey have any of you guys ever managed to insure your S1 Elise through a classic car policy ? I keep hearing about guys insuring old Porsche's on classic policies for £120 etc and wondered if the S1 would qualify for such cover.
My policy is due for renewal on February so just about to start shopping around.
Regards
Jeremy

Problem is that the Elise is not a Classic car yet, Insurance Companies set different ages, but normally over 25 years, and the driver normally has to be over 25.

Hey Tat I've found a few places who will cover it under a classic policy, there are certain criteria like it has to be over 10 years old, not used for commuting to work and mileage restrictons like <4000 miles pa.
Problem is the premiums are still higher than my renewal with Admiral. The hunt continues

Jeremy

Tat?
Try CCI, very competitive for me (27, 5 years no claims, £400 Inc 6 track days) and you still earn no claims, which I don't think is the case with classic policies.
