Henderson Taylor - Excellent Service

Post by smitstui » Mon Dec 19, 2011 11:02 am

I have just taken insurance out via Henderson Taylor.

First time I havent insured a Lotus with CCI, but I left three messages requesting a phone back for a quote (since I couldnt get through) so didnt even get a price this year.

Almost identical policy, price is slightly better and 5 track days included.

But the clincher is the Fast, efficient and personal service :thumbsup

2nd thumbs up for Matthew - however the Aviva side of the admin takes a geological age to go through, e.g. MID update.

I had to join SELOC though to get a club discount too, but he was £200 less than my reis quote, so quids in stil.

Another thumbs up for henderson taylor
renewal came through:

£647 down from £720 last year.

Compare to:

Reis £830 quoted
Heritage - couldn't match it as I was under 30 - racialist :-)

I think I'll just take henderson taylor rather than chasing CCI for 2 weeks for quote.

Has something happened to CCI, connected with their office move ?

I'm currently with REIS on the recommendation of many of you.

To be honest I didnt even try them, Last year Henderson taylor were £300 less than CCI and since theres been a few people saying they struggle to get in touch I decided to stick with Henderson Taylor - they've always got back to me quickly and there quote is probably going to be the best anyway. if they would do a laid up policy or a discount for taking it off the road in winter they'd be perfect :-)

CCI have always given me the cheapest quote by far. Did have problems getting through to change the policy when I got the new car last year. Was starting to think i was going to be stuck in Aberdeen overnight.
It took a very stroppy message for them to call back, after waiting for them to phone me back for a good couple of hours. But then they quoted me less for an S1 Honda than my 190 Exige which was nice.

I emailed a question Matt at henderson taylor on saturday and got a response today so will be sticking with them. Even if CCI saved me £50 it seems the service wouldn't be as good.
