CCI renewal
CCI renewal
Okay so given the events of 2011, I knew my premium would go up, but fark me... Renewal in today at a cool 2k
I won't even tell you what % increase that works out at!
So, any good alternatives apart from CCI to try???

CCI renewal
Admiral was cheapest for me after a claim (non fault)
Re: CCI renewal
Steveweegie just renewed... his cheapest quote was from Shiela's wheels! Maybe worth a look. ......and I doubt it is because he drives like a girl.
Re: CCI renewal
CCI doubled my premium with no events since the last time. Went with REIS for around £300 less.
CCI are putting a massive hike on premiums with commuting on them.

Re: CCI renewal
Comparethemarket.com has come very good and Admiral saving the day! Will try Reiss tomorrow though
Re: CCI renewal
My premium on N3 went up for the first time this month with REIS by £80.
Mary said part of it was the cost of windscreen replacements, the excess has now increased to £75 but the cover has gone from £500 to £1K.

Re: CCI renewal
After reading so many reports of people using CCI I decided to get a quote - £894 !!
Admiral were £440 - not quite the cheapest but offering lower excess and probably the best package overall.

Re: CCI renewal
CCI renewal in for 2-11 and 370Z...
The 2-11 has gone up a wee bit but the 370Z has jumped by 35%. I was also singularly unimpressed with the service when trying to get insurance sorted for TT trackday...

Re: CCI renewal
I was with REIS but moved over to Henderson Taylor. Saved a few quid, covered for 6 trackdays a year and Matthew genuinely seems really keen to help.

Re: CCI renewal
All you should have to do is give them the date at least one day before.
I suggest that anybody using CCI or REIS check with both when renewing. I have been dealing with Mary for years now and would not want to swap her. Not even penalising me for 11 points, never mind covering me for a S/C Honda at £320 ensures my loyalty. I was going to check with CCI this time, but then I could not be assed especially when I saw it was an 0844. It is bloody ridiculous that I should pay for a phone call when I am giving them money, especially if I have to go through all the details that you have to give for a new policy.
They all used to be 0800, then they realised they could make money by changing to 087 and 084. If they tried this in the USA they would never get a call.
I use SAYNO when I can, but it does not cover everything.

Re: CCI renewal
Forgot to mention that with N3 I doubt if I have an option apart from those two, with a showroom car you will have far more choice and probably at a better price, though you would have to declare any mods, which does not apply to me.

Re: CCI renewal
Also currently with REIS - £300 for Egor on a limited mileage policy of, I think, 7,000 miles.

Re: CCI renewal
Cheaper than me, that is a bit off.
Actually £300 is their lowest policy price so they must have loaded me with £22 for the 11 points.
