One Answer Insurance

Post by mrbennybennett » Mon May 05, 2014 9:43 am

Just a quick word of thanks to one answer insurance who have sorted me with the new V6 roadster

Cheaper than both CCI and REIS for me and up to 8,000 miles a year and 6 trackdays included

Very impressed with the service and they are keen for more Lotus business so give Ryan a call on 01323 481484

Cheers

Indeed Ryan from 1Answer was VERY competitive. I got a quote when CCI were dicking about (eventually they reduced by 15%) and got their act in gear.

Interestingly 1 Answer include coverage for Nurburgring Nordshleife on closed track events which virtually nobody else can (just the excess goes up to 20%).
They can also add 6 extra trackdays for additional £100 which would be tough to beat if your a track addict.

Extra six trackdays for £100 is excellent.

Have to agree with the positive comments about One Answer insurance.

Just changed to One Answer insurance since my current insurers were unable to cover more than five trackdays and would not include European tracks.

One Answer are also cheaper overall and, has been said, can offer six extra trackdays for £100.

Excellent service from Ryan when I called.

Cheers

Douglas

I am also with them. Only down side is the 2.5k excess for Knockhill. More reason not to bin it I guess!

Didn't realise that. To be honest I was just happy to get a sensible premium - I'd just been quoted £2500 for six trackdays (including two European ones) by my previous insurer. Oh, and that was without road cover...

Phoned them today as I'm with them already. Way over double what Aviva want.

Over double my renewal quote for the Exige. :(
Perhaps not quite comparing apples with apples since I don't have (and don't need) track cover, but the £250 saved would buy some of that.

Just to advise the chap Ryan mentioned in this thread apparently left One Answer a couple of months ago. I tried them for the Exige renewal and after an awful lot of questions and calls back for more questions (including some bizarre ones like his very first question wasn't model, reg or age but 'has your car ever been impounded by the police?') after referrals to the underwriters he said he could match CCI's renewal if I faxed all the renewal docs over. I asked what was the benefit to be told by matching he would try for £10 off. Not worth the hassle and didn't inspire a lot of confidence.

Pity. Was about to add them to my list for the Evora.
